Air:

Nice airport is about 1 hour 15 minutes drive. Easyjet flies from Luton and Gatwick in to Nice. Hire cars available at Nice, including Easycar. Tip: If booking with Easyjet it is always better to book well in advance as the prices go up the closer you are to departure date.

Toulon airport is about 1hours drive. Various low cost airlines fly from Stansted and East Midlands into Toulon. British Airways operates a very reasonable flight here during the season. The journey to Port Grimaud is much more scenic than from Nice which is mainly via motorway/Autoroute.

Flights can be booked through the following websites:
Easyjet. Low fares from Luton and Gatwick to Nice.
British Midland. Flights from Heathrow to Nice.
British Airways. Flies just about anywhere.
LastMinute. Another reliable site for cheap flights.

Train:

TGV is at Les Arcs, with Frejus/St Raphael for SNCF. There are buses connecting Port Grimaud to St Raphael not very frequent and no guarantee of meeting connecting trains.

Car:

From Calais to Port Grimaud the distance is approximately 750 miles. Autoroutes are fast and using the A8 down to Le Luc, means a lovely drive over the Maures mountains through the pretty towns into Port Grimaud itself. It's a long, long journey but can be managed in a day.
